Handpainted and researched map of medieval England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. In this era of political division, the seven Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms (the Heptarchy) are on the brink of disaster as the Vikings are about to begin their first raids on the British Isles. The writing is in old English, although the font used was not developed until a later period of the Medieval Age.
