Handpainted and researched map of the Kingdom of Bavaria between 1805 and 1918. The map is written in Fraktur font and in the Bavarian dialect of German. Thus, for example, Munich is Minga instead of München. The Kingdom was largely independent throughout the 19th century until its unification with Germany, after which it remained highly autonomous.
High-quality giclee print available at various sizes. The actual detail is greater than in the photos, which have been compressed.
