Commission a Custom Map

A work in progress
Hand-painted. Historically researched. Made for you
Every map I paint is grounded in genuine historical research. Place names are rendered in period-accurate scripts — Ottoman Turkish calligraphy, Tibetan Uchen, Rañjanā, Runic. Color palettes draw from manuscript traditions, temple art, and archival sources. The result is something that doesn't just show a place — it argues for how that place understood itself.

What a Commission Involves
Custom work is a collaboration. You bring the subject; I bring the research, the methodology, and the hand.
Past commissions have ranged from dynastic empires and sacred geographies to personal heritage maps and one-of-a-kind gifts. Each begins with a conversation about what you want the map to say — not just what it should show. Interested? Start a Commission.
